Support a Bangladeshi Artist’s Journey to Riga!

Dear friends, mentors, and community,

I am incredibly honored to share that my latest multisensory installation, RESIDUE, has been officially selected for the @scentartfestival 2026 in Riga, Latvia, this May!

I am currently finishing my Bachelor of Photography at Pathshala South Asian Media Institute. Traveling to Riga is so much more than an exhibition—it is a vital milestone for my growth as an artist. Being there in person allows me to collaborate with international curators and translate the heavy, complex realities of our region for the world. As I prepare to graduate this December and dream of studying abroad, experiencing this cross-cultural exchange in person will profoundly shape my future practice. It is a chance to ensure our stories and our sensory experiences are felt, not just seen.

The current geopolitical climate has caused flight prices from Dhaka to Europe to skyrocket. To secure my Schengen visa and my seat on the plane, I need to raise the remaining funds for my ticket by the last week of April.
